I believe that in order to be an outstanding teacher one must exhibit a plethora of skills. For instance one must be able to multi-task and integrate many different occupations into the incredible job of being a teacher. You must be a police officer in that you have to be able to diffuse arguments if they arise (and they will). You must be a doctor, in that you must be able to apply bandages to minor injuries that can result from accidents during recess. I would describe my teaching style as hands on and according to multiple learning styles. I understand that students learn best when they have the option of working with material objects. I also realize that students all learn in different ways and therefore I try to teach to each student's learning style. If a student doesn't understand it one way, I try to teach it another way so that he/she can learn it.
In 2001, I graduated from IUP with a degree in elementary education. I do not possess documented experience from schools or other organizations. I am a very highly motivated individual that does not mind helping others.
