Upon leaving University I went into sales and marketing management for a couple of years. A career change occurred as I entered the realm of land surveying and mapping. I was an exemplary student athlete and attended university on multiple athletic and academic scholarships. I have been responsible for teaching over 80 employees either surveying, trigonometry, geometry or math and computation basics. I also headed up staffs of 10-70 employees while in my management role. I focus on finding what works with individual children.

I began teaching in 2001 in Caddo Parish. I have taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, First Grade and Second Grade. I have also tutored kindergarten-4th grade students in my home for 10 years. I'm currently at Arthur Circle in Shreveport, La. I have two daughters who are 11 and 13, who are in the Gateway Program at Caddo Middle Magnet. I have worked hard with them on all areas of study since they were very young.
