A Little Bit About Me...

I have recently earned my BS in Accounting from Wilson College in 2009. I have just finished up my first tax season at H&R Block in Chambersburg where I received very beneficial experience. I have researched and written numerous research papers at Wilson College and presented various Powerpoint presentations also.
My teaching style comes from 15 years of teaching Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and being a Youth Group Leader as well. I have also been a server trainer at my current job at Cracker Barrel for 9 years. I am a very patient person and I treat others with respect. I love to help others learn and I explain things thoroughly which is the way that I tend to learn. I try to teach the big picture first - if the student understands why they need the subject and how it will benefit them in their future, it makes the learning relevant. While in high school, I was a certified adult literacy tutor. Since I've had children, I have been an active volunteer in their classes - preschool through elementary school.
