My comments on tutoring Mechanical Engineering : As I've mentioned in my description of my Civil Engineering expertise: I spent four years at the University of Florida studying Nuclear Engineering. It is very important for nuclear engineers to understand the mechanics of the materials and structures they use. As such, the same traits that make me an effective tutor in the field of Civil Engineering also make me well suited to teach Mechanical, which by-and-large encompasses the most populous and general of all the engineering disciplines.
Many of the subjects applicable to Mechanical Engineering are statics, dynamics, mechanics of materials, and so on. These are core courses for Nuclear Engineering students to complete, and I have done so.
Greetings one and all!
My name is Tristan, and I am a recent graduate of the University of Florida's College of Engineering as of August 2012. I graduated with a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Nuclear Engineering and a cumulative GPA of 3.25 (and I will tell you that I earned every point of it).
I am looking forward to using my knowledge and proficiency in various fields of math and science to make your four year slog through the rigors of academia as palpable as possible. I offer flexible hours, friendly demeanor, and a patient approach to tutoring that caters to your individual skill set. All of this comes at a reasonable price, which can of course be negotiated to suit your budget (remember, I was once a broke college student too).
In short: I work with you, for you, and on your terms!
I offer tutelage in many technical disciplines: Math, Science, and Engineering are my b ... read more
