I felt my breadth of technical fields was important because it would allow me to be conversant with many different disciplines in an ever increasingly interdisciplinary world. I have a masters degree in engineering. My study in college and graduate school involved extensive Math and Physics. During my graduate school I taught programming to sophomore students. I enjoy explaining technical concepts to students. I quite like the challenge of logically explaining difficult science concepts to students. I am very patient and try calmly to find a way to convincingly explain my point. I believe the key is to listen to the student and guage how much he/she is following and build on it. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is one focused on hands on. I set up one class in Del Mar where the students developed a Web site for an outside nonpropfit client for free in one semester. This was well received, provided good experience to students and built good relationship between education and local industry. I loved moving from working in industry with computers to be teaching how to used them. The one on one experience with students teaching them to become computer experts was challenging and very exciting. Helping a student to progress is great and very rewarding.
I worked in industry with computers the first 20 years of my career in Caracas, Venezuela.
