I believe that by letting the student try to answer the problem by them self is the best way of learning. I will try to guide them down the right path, but even a wrong answer can teach you a lesson. Then elbow joint constituents and their relation to each other Then the origin and insertion of the "Brachialis" as well as its nerve and blood supply.... I think this works for almost 70% of students. Some have a special aproach that can be discovered in their response to a general question like "What can you see through this window"?
