I graduated from Morehead State University with a BS in Chemistry and a Geology minor in 1996. I used this degree to obtain work in my field, and outside of my field for the past 14 years. I have strong, hands-on experience with Chemistry principles and have experienced them on a daily basis for over 5 years. A Little Bit About Me...

My classroom teaching has always been supplemented with one-on-one sessions with my students. I believe in establishing a good rapport with all my students and creating a learning inducive atmosphere. I also believe that education expands horizons and have consistently attempted to introduce my students to new ideas, new cultures, and new learning experiences.
I have taught English in various area colleges for 8 years. I have had experience teaching a wide variety of students from various backgrounds - both community college and university. I have won writing prizes at the University of Cincinnati and have recently published a portion of my doctoral dissertation.
