I try to help the student avoid the notion that “every problem is a new problem,” but instead to look for patterns and similarities to problems they have already successfully solved. I do not have current experience teaching or tutoring for pay. I did some tutoring of high school students and fellow classmates while I was in college. Since then, I have been the "go-to" person in my family for help with math and science. I tutored one of my sisters in her classes at St Charles Community College. She graduated with an Associates degree in AutoCAD last year. I helped her with all her cad, math, physics, and engineering classes.
