I believe in interactive teaching, where the student is as involved as the teacher. My satisfaction comes from watching students discover knowledge that they had previously thought unavailable. I have completed all requirements for a Master of Arts degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I have taught mathematics, computer applications, life skills, and other subjects at high school and community college levels in Colorado. I have a B.S in Animal Biology. I have had to take extensive science and math courses. Additionally, I have extensive experience working with children. Especially those that are from low income families and different cultures. I have volunteered tutoring children after school. Additionally, I have taken several classes about learning styles, teaching styles, and study skills to improve my own academic achievement.
