My name is McCrae Mower, and I am currently a sophomoere at Minnetonka High School. I have been involved with tutoring for the last two years. I am part of an activity called "Backpack Tutoring." Tutoring Advantage was founded by Joan Robertson in 2006. Joan is a licensed teacher, trained in the Orton-Gillingham method and specializes in Dyslexia, Dysgraphia and learning disabilities. Elementary Tutor

I have taught elementary school for the past six years. I worked in an inclusive classroom where I differentiated for the needs of all students. I particularly love teaching reading, writing, and math. I have run many intervention programs, piloted new curriculum, and served as a literacy coordinator in my school to advance the teaching of reading and writing.
I enjoy coming alongside frustrated learners who need an extra boost to support their academic growth. I am very patient and understanding, while at the same time communicating high expectations. I encourage and support my students by learning more about them and what strategies they need to succeed.
