My comments on tutoring Grammar : I know the basics of grammar to help young adults. But that is not stopping me to become a better person with grammar.

I don't really got a teaching style it changes depending on the person that needs help.
I have experience with young kids and young adults to help them be successful in the near future. I have heard so many great fee back from the people that I helped and it made me feel good about myself that I can help change peoples lives. I have helped children and teens from all ages in the field of English as well as performing arts. I have a passion for fine arts and literature and enjoy tutoring and helping others. I also have a passion for mathematics and have tutored several classmates in past years. Here on the campus of East Carolina University, I have been involved in several different mentoring programs to help motivate and enrich children. During the Fall and Winter breaks I assist with End-of-Grade testing preparation at church.
My teaching style varies by the student. If the student learns fast and is persitent, I will move at a faster state, but if the student learns at a normal or a slower pace I will move at a rate in which the child will get the most out of the tutoring experience.

I am pretty versatile when it comes to teaching. I see what works best for a given individual or group and try to meet students where they are academically. I also attempt to motivate students by incorporating topics they enjoy into lessons.
I am a former high school and middle school English teacher who is currently pursuing a Master's of English at East Carolina University. This past semester I tutored in a writing studio at ECU. A Little Bit About Me...

I have had intensive training with multiple intelligence (Kagan structures) with my current employer. I use these structures during every lesson. Multiple intelligence structures focus on cooperative learning and allow for students to learn in a way that is most suitable for them. The students become familiar with these structures and look forward to using them during the lessons to share their thoughts and findings with their peers.
Throughout college I tutored elementary students for a tutoring company that worked with students in an urban district in Pennsylvania. My tutoring experiences are in K-1 and grade 3. A Little Bit About Me...

I am attending school for early childhood degree. Working with children and others have always been apart of me. Throughout school I am always helping and tutoring someone. Teaching someone something that I already know and something they should know or what to know makes me happy. I substitute before and volunteer my time a lot with daycare, Boys and Girls Club, after school programs, and even at church.
