My teaching style is to try make a confusing or intimidating subject matter such calculus or physics more understandable and approachable. I do this by breaking down the confusing topic into smaller and simpler sub-topics and showing how these sub-topics build into the final subject they are trying to comprehend. I am very patient and easy going. My goal is to provide a constructive and enthusiastic approach to a difficult subject. As a mechanical engineer I have a large amount of technical experience. I feel the need for tutoring is the need to simply obtain information in a form that is different from the one presented in the classroom. As a tutor, I work to break things down into their constituent pieces and explain each of these pieces in turn. As a mathematics major, I worked in the math lab all four years of my college experience. I would tutor others with their math and help students study for exams.
