My teaching style varies based on the age of the student. I like to be a little more animated with my k-6 graders. On the other hand, with my 7-12 graders I focus more so on making a connection with the material--showing them how it relates to them.

A Little Bit About Me...

I love teaching and working with children. I find that they are fun to talk to and that each one has a different learning process. I like tutoring better than teaching in a large group, as tutoring allows students to receive one on one attention. My goal is to provide the best education possible in my allotted time periods. As a graduate of a small junior college I believe one on one teaching gives students the advantage over a large group because the child can receive the necessary attention for learning skills in reading, writing and math. Many children learn differently some are visual learners,some are audio etc. I have been instructed through various techniques in reading with chilldren that will help them achieve a higher reading level of success.
