Reading is one of my top subjects! Reading is something I am very familiar with, and is a favorite hobby of mine.

I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in English, with an emphasis on Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University online. I have been writing for almost twenty years, although I have been writing poetry since I was in high school. I have been published in a book of poetry (although it wasn't widely distributed), and I love to teach people about Shakespeare because of how much I enjoy learning about the time period and writing styles of the period.

My comments on tutoring Reading : I have taught this subject at both primary and secondary levels in my school district.

Interactive modeling of examples, repetition, and simplifying subject matter are key components of my teaching style. Many students have difficulty relating to academic material due the lack being given time to practice example assignments. I also teach universal strategies of how to study material to fully understand assignments.
I have worked as a Special Education Instructional Assistant for the past 8 years. I am currently attending school to become a special education teacher. I have experience teaching many different students from various grade levels and have tracked their academic progression. My comments on tutoring Reading : I will make reading fun and easy for the students to learn. Instead of thinking reading is boring, the students will enjoy picking up a book and learn how to imagine the story in their own way.

I am a 16 year old high school student taking my third year of Spanish, Psychology/Sociology, English, U.S History, Chemistry, and Math Reasoning. School wasn't one of my favorite places to go especially when I wasn't doing so hot in some of my classes. But then I found fun and easy ways to study. It turned out that I actually enjoyed going to school afterwards and making it a goal to get good grades. That is my goal with potential students. I want them to enjoy studying for school. Yes it may be a lot of work but the student can make it easier by using flashcards or writing down the problem until it sticks into their, whatever helps them. I want to help them to see how easy school can actually be for them. At first studying may be frustrating but the more the student and I practice, the more fun and less stressful the subject will become.
