Starting in October of 2008, I was an Instructional Assistant at Sacramento City College for three semesters. I help students with math, statistics, and science. School wasn't one of my favorite places to go especially when I wasn't doing so hot in some of my classes. But then I found fun and easy ways to study. It turned out that I actually enjoyed going to school afterwards and making it a goal to get good grades. That is my goal with potential students. I want them to enjoy studying for school. Yes it may be a lot of work but the student can make it easier by using flashcards or writing down the problem until it sticks into their, whatever helps them. This really depends on the subject, however, I like to do drills to keep basic skills sharp, and to learn new skills. Each student is different, and will need slightly adjusted methodology. I'm also very open to suggestion.
