I have worked with children all of my life. I earned a bachelors degree from Skidmore College in 2008 with a major in Social Work and a minor in Early Childhood Education. I also fulfilled the core curriculum classes in math, science, English, and foreign language. I went on to receive a masters degree in Social Work from Boston College in 2009 through their advanced standing program. I was an Aide in the resource center at Pollard Middle School in Massachusetts and interned as a floating substitute at Elias Howe School in Bridgeport. I student taught fourth grade at Stratford Academy. I was also an Aide for grades 5 and 6 and Christian Heritage School in Trumbull and taught grade six at CHS last year. I am currently a Title 1 Tutor at Franklin Elementary School in Stratford.

I have been a one-on -one paraprofessional at the elementary school level, teaching all subjects. I have also been a substitute teacher for eight years in prek-eight grade taching all subjects. I enjoy teaching all ages. I have found the most satisfying experience in helping a student reach his/her potential and see their self-esteem grow immensely as their academic achievements grew.
