Since my childhood I was always interested in education and academics. This definitely reflects in my degrees since a female entering an engineering school was very uncommon in those days and especially in India. After getting my B.S. I knew I wanted to teach; hence I pursued my masters in Mechanical Engineering. I have been teaching and tutoring for many years but for 15+ in Maryland. I have very good communication skill. My teaching style emphasizes the differences between children, especially with regards to learning styles. Different children comprehend and understand in unique ways - while one may understand best from tactile or visual demonstrations, others learn best simply by hearing. Even within the same student, certain concepts are best understood in atypical ways.
