My teaching style is really one of encouragement, love, belief, knowledge, honesty and respect. I believe that children need to know that you are truely concerned for them before they really want to know how much knowledge you can dispense to them. As an elementary student in the 4th grade I had a reading deficiency and was reading on a 1st grade level. I have fourteen years of instructional experience teaching mathematics and statistics at the college and community college level, and two years teaching secondary mathematics. My teaching experience is enhanced with eleven years of industrial exposure in the defense field. I also hold a teaching certificate to teach math and science in the state of Colorado where I taught and tutored at the middle school and high school level.
