My comments on tutoring Physics: I have taken physics as an undergraduate, taught it when I was a high school teacher.
I like to understand where the students are coming from, and see if I can make the topic more understandable. My thought is to make the student understand the topic, not just get by. I have been teaching for six years at the Southwest Colorado Community College. I have taught basic mathematics to algebra III. (Math 121)
I also have done quite a bit of tutoring with those in my class, and those not in my class (statistics and calculus).
I have taught for the gateway to college program. It is a program that helps high school drop outs get their high school diplomas, and get a start in college.
I have taught online for Colorado Community Colleges Online until they no longer needed basic math teachers. I am experienced with latex,and graphical equation editors. I have a program that will produce mml code.
