Seven years of focused, teacher-led personal instruction with Michael Fath, world-renowned guitar virtuoso from Fairfax VA.
I have attended numerous workshops and guitar camps led by widely-respected guitar players. This has allowed me to review their teaching styles and methods, while learning new skills and approaches to the instrument.
Substantial self-instruction in several acoustic styles, including blues fingerstyle, bluegrass, roots jazz, introductory classical, and Flamenco. All self-instruction has been aimed toward the establishment of solid fundamentals.
Public performance and recording experience with bands, at open mics, and public jams. Proficient and prolific writer of instrumental guitar pieces.
