I was hired on the spot and then continued with education by obtaining a masters degree in special education in Tempe Arizona. In Arizona I was assigned as an inclusion teacher for 9, 10 11th grade English. I had to accommodate diverse learners and plan instruction. I have a passion for teaching. I love to teach children and young adults. I have always been the teacher to help the struggling students, because at one time I was that student. A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated from college with certification to teach grades 1-12. Do to the job market at that time, I was unable to get a full time teaching job. I substituted and then tutored for 2 years. I then worked various jobs working with the public. Although much of work experience is not in the teaching field, I have worked with people in many ways to reach their full potential and can relate to them on a level that they will comprehend.
I believe in using a multi- modality approach to teaching. The more senses involved, the more likely one will remember. I also believe in trying to make material needed to learn to seem approachable or pertinent in their lives.(No matter the age) Anyone can learn if it is presented in a way that makes it exciting and fun. You must let them give a sense of accomplishment and success.
