Whenever I have been recruited to help someone in the past I have been a firm beleiver in less is more. Though it is important for the person to understand what he/she is reading or writing it is important to shadow their work instead of smothering them. I always feel for both myself and others that learning comes from doing and trying by ones self, and asking for help only when needed. Of course this style is useless if the explanations and guidance that go with it are not clear and fascilitate the process for the student.
Still fresh out of college I have been looking for an area to exercise my expertise in writing and my knowledge of literature. As an Le Moyne College graduate, I was required to become well rounded in a multiple areas of study. I have achieved a BA in History and minor in the German language. The core courses in the Le Moyne curriculum assisted me in becoming well rounded in the areas of philosophy, religion,math and science. Due to writing research papers I have an wide vocabulary and precise grammatical skills. I am currently a 4H club leader and I mentor young girl.

At the University of Illinois at Chicago I earned a bachelor's of science degree in electrical engineering and worked as a teaching assistant for three sememsters of graduate school. After leaving the university I tutored former students from my labs in math, science, engineering, and programming. I did this as hobby. I enjoy working with students. I am currently helping someone working on a master's degree in computer science.
I love teaching. I always get well prepared before I sit down with someone.
