A Little Bit About Me...

I first make learning fun and exciting. As in past experience each child learns diffently and I need to be able to adapt to this. I first see what the level of the child is then work on the next step and help make sure the new level is learned as well as the old level is still maintained.
I have a BS in Child development with a minor in phsychology and I was teaching for Head Start back before I finished my degree. I have since finished and I am looking to expand my range. I love math and it just comes easy for me. I have a background in Engineering and Calculas.

My approach depends on what level of students you are dealing with; and I am good at it. I always have some tactics on how boring subjects catch the student's interest. Teaching your kid doesn't need a genius one but first it does need somebody who has the heart to make them feel that they are special and making them feel that we, parents have confidence with our kids. I have been in the educational field for over 15 years as a tutor, aide, and a classroom teacher. I have a degree in Food and Nutrition which contained many credit hours of science. In fact, my adviser wanted my to minor in Science because of all of my credits. I have taken 12 credit hours of Biology, 12 credit hours of Chemistry, and 9 credit hours of Anatomy and Physiology. All of these courses had laboratory classes, as well as, lectures. I also have a degree in elementary Education. I am currently working on my Masters in Counseling.
