I am currently the mother of three children, all of whom I home school. I dedicate a great deal of my time to children and advocating on their behalf. I earned my Master of Arts in Teaching from Kent State University, as well as a B.A. in accounting from Baldwin Wallace College. Currently, I am a doctoral candidate working on my dissertation in curriculum and instruction at Kent State University, while specializing in international/multicultural education. A Little Bit About Me...

When a question is asked, I am not going to simply just tell the student the answer. I would want them to think it out and try and figure it out for themselves. I would however guide them in the right direction and even ask them other questions they may know in order for them to figure out the intial problem. I feel that these types of interactions are a more effective way of learning. Also, writing things down helps tremedously because not only are you thinking it, but you're seeing it and reading it as well. I am a very easy person to get along with, and I am also very encouraging. I enjoy helping others whether it's in an academic environment or not.
