I really enjoy tutoring. I love watching the students gain confidence as we work through the problems. I believe my attitude and approach to teaching helps the students. I provide enough understanding to the students but still challenge them. The worst thing you can do, is just give the answers. A Little Bit About Me...

As an educator, especially in mathematics, I want my students to not just arrive at the right answer, but understand the process, as well. I want students to have a solid foundation in number theory. I also want them to see the connection between the more elementary levels of mathematics and the more abstact higher levels. I usually spend some time and effort working on the organizational skills of the student, especially if I notice a weakness there. Many times the lack of those organizational skills becomes a detriment to math problem solving.
