During my years attending UMass Dartmouth, I recieved my Bachelor's Degree in Sociology with a minor in Business Administration. But I also gained alot of experience working with children. I tutored elementary age students in the star program and college students at my campus job in the Unity House. I also was the coordinator for the New Bedford Speech Academy. This program taught students fron 4-6th grade public speaking skills. I have applied the skills I learned to my current job as a home tutor. I tutor elementary to high school students in all subjects.

I have a unique resume of teaching experience. I have worked in a number of settings from pre-school to teaching adults. I have taught in public schools, private schools, after school settings and in a foreign country. I believe that every person has their own learning style and it is important for me to understand my students' needs and goals in any learning environment.
