Although I graduated with a degree in Anthropology, it has always been my career goal to pursue teaching and education and to use my knowledge in Cultural Studies to progress my teaching success. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been a teacher in the Hoke County school district for 3 years now. I taught 5th grade for one year, then moved to second grade for the past two years. I have taught all subjects and have worked with students of various levels and abilities from Kindergarten through High school. I have had training in all areas of education through my undergraduate and graduate degrees, and have seen great success with the students in my classes.
I have found that the best way to teach students is to have them do, not listen. Most students at any level are very unmotivated to learn if someone is lecturing at them or working at a pace that is above what they are able to accomplish.
