As a lifelong learner, I'm always motivated by students who have a curiosity for improving their own skills. I have a BA in liberal arts from Vassar College and a MS in Education from Queens College, which I earned through the full-time work/part-time study New York City Teaching Fellowship. I am fluent in Spanish, conversant in Japanese and French, and am always excited about learning more languages. My Teaching Style is to build a relationship with the student and their family. That is based on trust, confidence and a great deal of praise. Everyones performance is driven by the encouragement that they get on a daily basis. So a very important part of my teaching style is to include the whole family. Since I have worked students with a wide variety of learning issues; I feel that I am well prepared to assess and deliver educational materials and instruction to any student. My love of teaching is stimulated most when working with students who require the most assistance.
