A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. I also have experience in 7th and 8th grade. My strengths are teaching math strategies such as facts, multi-step problems and algebra. I have a passion for reading and writing instruction. I am highly qualified to teach reading fluency, phonics/ word attack, comprehension and vocabulary. I have a variety of high interest activities to help students build their confidence in both reading and writing.

As a University of Notre Dame graduate, I was very much driven to achieve a high level of excellence in education. I have earned two bachelor degrees, BA in Economics and BS in Mathematics, and a master's degree, MA in Secondary Education.
