A Little Bit About Me...

As an mathematics tutor I have had the pleasure of tutoring my college peers. I have worked with Hawks Learning System Program, which is an College Algebra Software thats is used by the mathematics professors at Alcorn State University. Within completing my degree I have taken higher level mathematics courses such as Calculus I, II, and III, as well as Abstract Algebra, Foundations of Mathematics, History of Mathematics, Discrete Mathematics, Mathematical Probability, Teaching Secondary Mathematics, Number Theory, Linear Algebra, and Statistics I just to name a few. While attending high school at South panola, I tutored every subject at the school and at the boys and girls club for four years. I have earned a BS in Chemistry with a minor in Math. I've been an Assistant Teacher on three different occasions at three different schools. I've always wanted to be in the education field but unable to finish my education. I am a mother of 6 children, ages 22,22,13,11,08, and 03. I love children, very concerned about our future and the education of our children today. Reading is so important and our children are not reading at the level they need to be. We have got to do more , as much as it takes to help our children understand how important reading is.
Not taking advantage of my opportunities, I have always done my best to provide my children and any other children that I could reach with a better view of what life has to offer.
