With my IB training (International Baccalaureate) I have successfully engaged students into finding purpose in math. I attended Bethel High School and obtained my degree from Hampton University in 1996 with a Mathematics degree. English is one of my top subjects! I earned a degree in English in college.

I have loved English since I was in middle school. I went to college with the desire to graduate with a degree in English Education, but realized (after almost three years in this program) that the education program at my school was completely disorganized. I decided to drop education and pursue a degree in solely English with a special interest in literature. I have also starred in two plays that my church put on- one that required only actions and another that had a multitude of lines and musical sections. As for Sign Language, I have an aunt who was born deaf. Because of that, I started learning simple signs before I could talk. I am by no means an interpreter, but I can carry on full conversations and aid in the tutoring of students who want to learn.
