A Little Bit About Me...

While studying for my Masters in Education I realized that in order to be effective as an educator, I must be a lifelong learner. My goal is to pass on this philosophy to all my students. Children and adults find me capable and successful in teaching content. I strive to make my lessons engaging and interesting and pride myself for creating and implementing a safe and friendly learning environment. The key to success is to reduce the stress level for my learners and I find when that is done learning comes easier.
My undergraduate degree and work experience was in criminal justice. A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy working with inquiring minds and solving problems. I teaching style is individualized because everyone learns in their own way. I like to get to know the prson by asking a few questions that can open up the problem as to why they do not understand a certain subject. Once I have a understanding of what the learning problem is, then I can come up with a game plan to how to make them understand how to conquer their problem.
