I enjoy working with children. I have volunteered my time as a football, baseball and basketball coach for several years. I believe in following the classroom curriculum of the student and using that as a starting point for learning. Communication is a key ingredient in the formula for success. A Little Bit About Me...

My personality lends itself nicely to the art of teaching, both adults and children. I have worked at banks since 2001. I have an Master of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting and a law degree. My experience has been useful from a practical math application. I have a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan in Economics. I received an A in college chemistry and I took college physics. I have took many entrance tests including the bar exam, GMAT, LSAT, and ACT. I have also took them in association with Kaplan to teach for Kaplan. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a hands on teaching style that mixes fun activities with an emphasis on asking children questions. I pay attention to each individual student and try to figure out what their learning style is. I try to center activities around how they learn (ie. if they are a textile learner, I'll bring in physical shapes to work on geometric problems as opposed to worksheets). I believe that application and explanation to others are the best route of learning, so I like to have kids who are at different levels work together on subjects they may have difficulties with.
