I passionately enjoy teaching and working with children. I believe that all students deserve to have a quality education and the opportunity to reach their fullest potential. I want my students to learn the fundamental content of the courses I teach. Beyond that, I hope to foster critical thinking, facilitate the acquisition of life-long learning skills and help develop problem-solving strategies that can be used both inside and outside of the classroom. As a graduate student working towards earning my Master's in Education, I presently observe and do field research studies with students at the elementary age. A Little Bit About Me...

I don't believe in giving a student the answers to their questions. Rather, I think it is important to help them find the answers themselves--understanding the process will enable them to perform on their own. For example, rather than editing a student's paper, I will go through it line by line and have them help me find the errors.
I have a very strong background in writing. My experience includes my graduate research and thesis, news writing for a tv station, in addition to 6 years of writing for academia. I spent a semester in Pau, France and can tutor beginning to intermediate level students. I graduated with a 3.9 GPA in high school, college and graduate school.
