My teaching style is to get my students involved in the English process; from grammar to vocabulary to basic syntax, I try to make my classes fun and interesting as well as productive. English has always excited me and I want my students to be excited as well. I am often amazed at how a student's skill level improves when a teacher brings an element of fun to a classroom. Although each child may pursue differnet educational opportunities in later years, I believe that there is a core body of knowledge, presented to us in the curriculum, that each can and should be exposed to while they are in the lower. However, I realize that all children do not learn new concepts and strategies by the same methods or at the same rate as one another. For that reason, I support the use of differentiated instruction as a means to effectively communicate that knowledge.
