During my last four years I have been given several opportunities to interact and educate students of all ages. Working with the Upward Bound Program I tutored high school students in various subjects. As a varsity basketball player I was frequently in charge of teaching the sport's fundamental skills necessary to younger children. While this kind of education differs from one received in the classroom, I believe that the objective is similar in that students are being taught essential elements of a subject. I love helping children learn in a way that's fun and supportive.
