A Little Bit About Me...

As a college graduate with two degrees in business and working on a graduate business degree, I have found myself useful to many students at the college and high school levels. I have tutored many business subjects at the college level and math and language subjects at the high school level. I have a passion for learning and an equal passion to help others learn. In all the instances that I have tutored and all the students I have observed an increase in performance. I am glad to have been able to help students and the community.
I love to see the glimmer in students' eyes when they understand information and make the necessary connections. My teaching style really depends on the person I am working with. People learn different ways. It is important to identify what works best for the person. For example, some people may learn through discussion, while others may need to see pictures or presentations of the subject matter. I like to identify how the person learns first through questions, or by testing them with a simple task first to identify the method which seems to work best for them. Once this has been identified, training can begin.
I have both a bachelors degree and masters degree in business administration/management. Both of these degrees have given me a high level of knowledge in many areas such as finance, accounting, math in general, writing, and presentations/projects.
