My comments on tutoring Dyslexia : My current career is in Applied Behavioral Analysis and my job is to work with children who are not neurotypical for whatever the reason.

Depends on how the client learns. I spend the first few days probing based on the Applied Behavioral Analysis standard before targeting specific patterns to teach.

Dyslexia is one of my top subjects! I had dyslexia when i was younger it was tough and nobody even noticed until second grade. I received treatment and i was very fortunate that i was still young enough to have it reversed. I remember what it was like to have dyslexia and I know how to teach someone who has it.

Patience and kindness are a must. Also I'm careful not to push when someones not ready.
I'm not very old yet but i know a lot. I've babysat my younger cousins and have had experience with many animals. Dyslexia is one of my top subjects! I was a history major at Loyola Marymount University and tutored dyslexic students part time from grades 1-6. I personally am dyslexic and did not learn how to read until I was in 7th grade. My personal experience has allowed me to help others with this disability. I am also a good role model as I am currently in law school, showing that you can overcome these disabilities.
