My comments on tutoring Painting : Studied color theory, design, and scene painting for theater. Worked with oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, pastel and experimented medium (nail polish). I prefer to worked with less fumed or messy materials for safety.

My education involve intensive studies in both the fine arts and theater. I went from basic drawing and design, to painting, building models, to paintings set for theater. I worked in 10 productions for Subversive Theater Collective and was a volunteer coordinator for an arts festival while living in Buffalo. As a central New York native I decided to stay in the area and go to college at Syracuse University. While at Syracuse I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree as well as an Art Education Initial certification degree. I enjoyed Syracuse so much that I stayed for my graduate work and earned my MS in Art Education. During my 5 years at Syracuse University I particiapated in various roles working with children. While working on my associates degree I tutored pre-calculus and statistics. I also worked briefly with catholic charities tutoring all subjects for high school students in need. I then completed my bachelors degree while tutoring part time at SUNY Oswego and independently with a high school student in Math and AP physics.
