Teaching is an art not a task. Never too late to learn.

My teaching style is more engaging and less papers and pencils. I work with my students on plan we designed together based on the needs and their goals. I use data to achieve and improvise my instructions. I am more fun facts finding kind of person and I make learning enjoyable and students like to come back to me to learn more.

My comments on tutoring Algebra I : It is always important to know where the skills of a person are to see how you might help increase their knowledge of algebra. The basis of algebra helps to build the fundamental framework for using math skills in everyday life.

My teaching style needs to respond to the needs of the individual. There are several styles of learning so I need to understand the individual to best know how to teach them the skills they need to pass the course.
I have worked in several different types of industries from hotels, restaurants, travel, mortgage companies, transportation, banks, theater, real estate and other primarily service businesses. Most of my interests lie in the financial and accounting parts of these businesses because of the importance of not only being able to present an accurate picture of the company's condition at only one time, but also to make sure that there were no mistakes, thefts being covered up, or other discrepancies. Very large companies have had loans go bad due to the improper accounting of transactions by the business owners.

My comments on tutoring Algebra I : Finished with an A in 5th grade.

I prefer to work one on one if possible, however up to a group of 5 is perfectly fine, because competitions can be made to help improve academically. Also kids/people learn best after making mistake or watching others make mistakes. I am an incredibly persistent guy and will spend whatever time it takes, with no extra charge, to ensure someone passes a class with an A. I have very reliable text books that I use to teach, however I know kids, despise using them so I turn the text into a more practical learning tool.
This is not very professional sounding, however I have helped all of my friends pass classes with As or Bs from 7th grade all the way to the end of high school. I never charged them.
