A Little Bit About Me...

I believe that every student should have a unique path, with no two students having the same path to musical fulfillment. Each student of mine has their lessons individually tailored to their needs. I will even write exercises for my students to emphasize a certain skill I wish them to possess. The foundation for musical production is an individual journey with two main aspects: dedication (practice) and musicianship (the love of music). The goal of private instruction is more than helping the student cultivate their skills on their chosen instrument - it is also to help the student's love of music grow so that this love will last a lifetime.

I believe that musicians are all at different points on the same curve, and that every student learns in a unique way. I am versatile in my teaching methods and flexible with the pace of students. I believe in instilling the correct skills and knowledge trumps over a period of time instead of cramming in new information at a rapid pace.
