My comments on tutoring Advertising : I produce Television Public Service Announcements (TV commercials), and radio spots (radio commercials) for the military regularly. I am simply given some command information. I then take artistic control until its completion.

I have been a professional print/broadcast journalist for roughly 15 years. I am a perpetual student and am currently finishing my bachelors in communications online at the University of Tampa and have been accepted in their Master of Fine Arts program for Film Studies. An MFA is a terminal degree, so I will be qualified to teach on a collegiate level upon graduation. As reality often transcends policy, I currently take interns from a local SUNY institution and mentor young broadcasters, so as technology evolves, I will as well. My main body of work is primarily broadcast, but I regularly produce print articles for both online and print publications. From developing concepts for solid stories to completed final products, I am adept at producing both broadcast and print work.

I'm very laid back and patient when it comes to teaching. I can empathize with students who have difficulty in a subject because at one point in my educational career I had trouble and needed help. We spent ample time going over reading and math assignments. I also career mentored eighth grade students in the Richland County School District in Columbia, SC.
