Social Studies and Creative Writing (English)

I am currently a Sociology student at Augsburg College. I am also pursuing a minor in Psychology. This year will be my last, so I will graduate in 2014. Also, I have taken several creative writing courses at the Loft Literary center, as well as at my College. I received a 4.0 in my courses. Also, in high school, I was always a level above in all English and composition classes.
I like to challenge people to think outside of the box. Although I know it is important to know how to take tests and write papers appropriately, I also know that showing skills that go above and beyond, is what makes a student stand out. Elementary Tutor

Reading Comprehension is one of my top subjects! As a Special Education Assistant, I strive to model a positive attitude, get a feel where each individual is academically, use certain strategies, such as asking certain kinds questions before reading to get each student actively involved in the process.
