I have been teaching guitar lessons for a year now. I have just graduated from Colorado State University Pueblo with my Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts. In my education at CSU I have also acquired six credit hours in education classes and observed 60 hours in public schools. In my experience as a musician, I have found that teaching a subject I love can really inspire students to excel. It's necessary to spread our knowledge to others. My specialty is music, but I love to teach in general because kids need good mentors. Each child is different so I use an individualized approach to my teaching styles. We all learn differently whether we are auditory, visual, or kinesthetic learners. I asses the student and provide the material/exercises necessary in order to create the best learning experience possible.

I received my Bachelor of Science in Business - Accounting degree in 2007 and am now a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA). I have had great accounting experience in many different areas of accounting that will be useful in tutoring/mentoring students. I have worked private accounting, public accounting, and I currently work for a public charter school as the senior accountant. I am a very dedicated and responsible person. Have have experience teaching young students along with older students. On hands approach, using examples of real scenarios helping students understand not only how something works but why they would need it, or how to use it.
