As an undergraduate tutoring math, I realized quickly that I had a gift to explain math and make it easy for others to understand. I earned a degree in Biology, which has fully equipped me for tutoring to children who have difficulties in any subject, but especially science. During my doctoral studies at UCSD, I began to tutor professionally as a way to earn extra income. It seemed like a logical choice for a part-time job as I had been helping friends with homework for almost as long as I could remember.
