I have children who are twenty one, seven, six, four, and two, as well as a granddaughter who is three. No two have learned in precisely the same way, and I have had to use multiple approaches to help them learn. I have also coached teams in five sports. I have spent a lifetime teaching kids to do things they never dreamed they could attain. I know that kids can learn anything they wish, and can become anything they wish.
I am a world class scholar, with roughly 1600 different publishing credits in nineteen distinct academic fields. I have taught more than 130 sections of twenty two different courses in seven different academic disciplines at five different colleges and universities. My entire background revolves around teaching. I taught in a Preschool while I was working on my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. While there I worked with all ages from Infants to the School Age children. After completing my degree I then went to teach in a public school. The first year I taught and ran the Preschool Program of about 50 children, ages 3 to 5 years. The next four years I taught third grade where our emphasis was on reading comprehension, analytical thinking skills, and writing. After leaving the public school arena I completed my MBA and then moved on to teaching adults. Lately I have been working at a local hospital instructing Physicians, Nurses, Pharmacists, and Clinic Managers on integrating their new Electronic Health Records program.
