Talent Development Tutoring

I have led several workshops about differentiation and developmentally appropriate practices for early childhood educators and parents over the last couple of years. Elementary Reading is one of my top subjects! In college I was part of a program that help struggling readers learn to read. I discovered that teaching a struggling reader how to read is the most rewarding aspect of teaching Elementary Education. So many learning possibilities are unlocked.

In 2001, I received my certification in Elementary Education from CCSU. I then substitute taught for the town of West Hartford for 2 years while I got married and had my son. He had a lot of health problems so the decision was made for me to stay home with him. When it came to Kindergarten he still had many health issues so we thought it was best to keep him home and I began to Homeschool him. Hey! My names Bethy! I'm 13 years old and in 8th grade. I've been tutoring since I was in 5th grade. I can tutor all ages in almost any subject. Last year I had the highest GPA in my whole school!
