I originally was a math major and a math and history honor student at the University of Houston in the early 70's. I left school to start a family bakery in Vermont followed by award winning bakeries in Northern California and Utah. After retiring from baking, I completed my education at Vermont Tech with a degree in Information Technology.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am seeking a degree in Finance and Actuarial Sciences from the University of Connecticut. I achived a high level of proficiency in math from a very young age and finish Advanced Calc 3 and a half years ago. I have tutored a student for his entire second year of high school in all subjects with noticable GPA improvements.

I graduated from the UConn with a B.S. in physics and a minor in mathematics. Because I have used calculus and linear algebra on a daily basis as a means of solving problems I have developed a fundamental understanding of mathematics; an understanding that only someone who has used thse mathematical tools extensively can achieve.
