A Little Bit About Me...

As a law school graduate, I am well trained in writing and communication skills. While in law school I was awarded a position on the legal journal of Health Matrix: Journal of Law-Medicine. My duties as a member of the executive board were to manage the staff and tutor the other editors in writing skills as they developed articles worthy of publication in the journal. I have always been very mathematical, even though I did little to cultivate it. One of my favorite classes in college was a statistics course I took, and the other was a logic class. I love to read books, and I enjoy chess as a hobby. Teaching is my true passion, and I regret leaving a teaching job to pursue a law degree, and I can only hope to pick up where I left off. A Little Bit About Me...

This particular position interests me because I struggled with math through middle school and understand the frustration it can create for a student. Mathematics is now my strongest subject and I chose the profession of accounting to utilize those strengths. During my time at college, I helped other students with their studies in math and business, specifically statistics and quantitative analysis. Although this teaching experience was with college level students, I have held a summer job working with 8-12 year olds for the past four years.
