Hi, My name is Rob. I graduated from SUNY Oswego summa cum laude with a BS in applied mathematics and a minor in statistics. The plan is to start a Master's Degree in applied statistics at Syracuse University in the fall of 2013. I was trained as a math tutor in 2010 and have since tutored privately, at Cayuga Community College, and at SUNY Oswego. I have also worked as a teaching assistant for an intro statistics course. My experiences tutoring include one-on-one for college algebra, discrete mathematics, and statistics, as well as drop-in math help, with topics ranging from arithmetic to calculus 2. Currently, I am a systems engineering graduate student at Penn State University. I have earned a bachelor's degree in applied mathematics from SUNY Oswego with minors in applied statistics and philosophy. My last position was as an academic mentor and tutor for AmeriCorps. I have one year of tutoring experience at Hannibal High School in Hannibal, New York. I tutored students in subjects including mathematics, science and history.
